Zoning Amendment Public Hearing
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF KENNAN
ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Kennan Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on September 1, 2026, at 5:15 p.m. at the Kennan-Georgetown Municipal Building, N4315 Mequon Street, Kennan, Wisconsin 54537, to consider proposed amendments to the Town of Kennan Zoning Ordinance.
The proposed amendments would:
- Create Section 3.17, Special Exceptions, establishing a review process for requests to reduce minimum property line setbacks and minimum road setbacks; and
- Amend Section 4.10, Fee Schedule, to establish a Special Exceptions Permit fee of $75.
A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance amendments is available for public inspection upon request. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the hearing. Written comments, or requests for a copy of the full text, may be submitted to the Zoning Administrator by email at zoning@townofkennan.wi.gov or by mail to Zoning Administrator, P.O. Box 211, Kennan, WI 54537. Written comments must be received prior to August 28, 2026.
