Thank you for your interest in the Town of Kennan board meetings, we are glad you're here!
We encourage you to attend monthly board meetings at your convenience.
Agendas and Treasurer Reports are available on the Agendas and Treaurer Reports page.
You may submit a Public Records Request at any time for additional documents.
Visitors are encouraged to attend meetings.
To respect the board's and visitor's time, side conversations are discouraged. Individuals causing a distraction during a meeting will be asked to complete conversations at a later date or to step outside.
* Please sign in at the beginning of each meeting
* Public comment is limited to 5 minutes per speaker. This is to allow enough time for each speaker to share their thoughts and for the board to complete town business.
* Please do not expect the board to respond to your concerns and questions. This is because we take your concerns and questions seriously and want to have sufficient time to process and research issues, if need be. We will, however, respond to your questions and concerns at a future meeting, or have the proper staff member get back to you at the appropriate time.
* Citizens and board members are expected to be courteous and civil. If at any time dialogue does not meet these criteria, an individual will be asked to remain civil or asked to leave. The board does have the authority to contact the Sheriff's Department to have any citizen refusing to behave in a civil manner removed from the meeting.
Please call or email the town clerk to submit a Public Records Request. The town clerk's contact information is available on the Contact Information page.
*A request for a record should have a reasonable limit as to subject matter or length of time represented by the record. If the town Clerk is unable to determine what records are being requested or the request is overbroad, they may ask the requester to be more specific or to narrow their request. Requesters are responsible for determining which records from among those located are relevant to their specific needs.
